This Privacy Policy explains how Askal Digital LTD. handles information for Business Tycoon - Idle Empire on iOS. The app is an idle business game. It does not require an account and does not use cloud saves or server-side player profiles. Askal Digital operates a separate first-party game-analytics service as described below.

Information handled by the app

Local game progress, settings, language choices, debug preferences, and widget values are stored on your device using Apple local storage such as UserDefaults and the app group container.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device about collectable in-game income. Game analytics records the permission result, successful schedule, and whether you opened the game from that reminder. iOS does not provide the app with a reliable delivery event.
If you contact support, we process your email address, message, attachments, and any diagnostic details you include so we can respond to your request.

First-party game analytics

The app automatically sends the following pseudonymous information to Askal Digital. This collection is independent from advertising consent and Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission:

A random app-scoped device ID, also called the app-install identifier, and a new random identifier for each game session; these are not your Apple ID, IDFA, IDFV, or a hardware identifier.
Session start, end, duration, app version and build, iOS version, device class, selected language, locale region, and time zone.
Feature and screen use; successful game actions such as purchases, upgrades, jobs, collection, research, corporations, and local-notification interactions.
Game progression such as cash and net worth values, income, tap level, catalog IDs and levels for businesses and upgrades, research IDs, corporations, cities, staff, collections, and prestige progress.
Cash-button activity in short summaries rather than one network event per tap, including counts, duration, and game cash earned.

Analytics does not include player-chosen business names, an advertising identifier, contacts, precise location, or support-message contents. The server must receive an IP address to answer an internet request and uses it transiently for rate limiting, but does not write raw IP addresses into the analytics database or application logs. Locale region is an approximate setting and may not match where you are physically located.

Rewarded ads and App Tracking Transparency

Business Tycoon uses AppLovin MAX to show optional rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may involve AppLovin and its advertising partners processing device identifiers, advertising identifiers when permitted, IP address, app and ad interaction events, approximate location derived from network information, and diagnostics for ad delivery, fraud prevention, reporting, and advertising.

On iOS, the app may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before using data for tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can change this choice later in iOS Settings. If you decline tracking, rewarded ads may still be available, but they should be delivered without the same cross-app tracking permission.

How information is used

To run the game locally and preserve your progress on the device.
To display optional rewarded ads and grant in-game rewards after eligible ad flows.
To schedule optional local reminders if you allow notifications.
To understand sessions, feature use, notification engagement, game progression, and where more progression or balancing may be needed.
To answer support requests and investigate issues you report.
To comply with legal obligations and App Store requirements.

Sharing

Askal Digital does not sell player account data because the app does not create player accounts. Information may be shared with service providers only where needed to operate the app, provide support, deliver rewarded ads, comply with law, or protect the app from misuse. Rewarded ads are provided through AppLovin and may involve AppLovin's advertising partners.

First-party analytics is hosted for Askal Digital on a Hetzner server in Germany and stored in ClickHouse. Grafana is used by authorized Askal Digital personnel to view aggregate dashboards. These services are not used to sell data or track you across other companies' apps or websites.

This support website is hosted on the same Hetzner server and delivered over HTTPS by Caddy. The web server may process transient request and security data. The website does not include a custom analytics script, and request IP addresses are not written to the game analytics database.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until you reset progress in the app where available, delete the app, or iOS removes the data.
High-volume analytics events for taps, feature actions, and screen use are deleted after 90 days. Install, session, first-session, progression, and local-notification analytics events are deleted after 365 days. Database TTL rules enforce these periods.
Deleting the app stops future collection from that installation and removes its local analytics identifier.
Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support history, and satisfy legal or operational requirements.
AppLovin retention and deletion choices are handled through AppLovin's privacy mechanisms described in its privacy policy.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
You can change App Tracking Transparency permission in iOS Settings.
You can stop using rewarded ads by not tapping rewarded ad buttons.
You can contact support@askaldigital.com with questions or requests concerning first-party analytics data.
You can request support-email deletion by contacting support@askaldigital.com.
You can delete local app data by deleting the app from your device.

Children

Business Tycoon is not directed to children. AppLovin states that it does not knowingly collect personal information from, or serve advertisements to, children as defined by applicable laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support or advertising flows, contact us at support@askaldigital.com.

International processing

First-party analytics is hosted in Germany. Support emails, website hosting data, and advertising-related data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, service providers are expected to use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, advertising setup, support process, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the latest version was published.
